A corner I sit in perfect envy
Reflecting on my gorgeous beauty
For vanity’s sake I shall persist
Pursuing love I will resist
An empty wineglass fills oneself
Crime called gluttony hampered stealth
Glorious covers of great control
Shred into pieces with tears and folds
Bed side sits with lust and fools
Raging fervor puts man to drool
Just mere seconds my passion lasts
Forget the chaste now forget the past
The sky’s the limit to all man’s want
Greed’s the word to what’s said and done
A contained zeal that’s kept within
Tempted to release my inner sins
Wasting my time and sit indoors
Captured the chance to fly race soar
Sloth’s a pity to given chance
Trains of thoughts pass in no glance
A brittle relation of fear and rage
Leaves love kept in my spirit cage
Wrath takes itself in this evil form
Of blown up anger on a roam
Credit oneself with no mercy
Like praising pride’s a fallacy
A flaw in nature is seven sins
Transgress to crime, a felony
Gula, Ira, Luxuria, Acedia
(Gluttony, Wrath, Lust, Sloth)
Superbia, Avaritia, Invidia
(Pride, Greed, Envy)
Each deadly in its own time of death
Commit none to face judgment’s wrath
Frenum, Patientia, Virtus
(Abstinence, Patience, Chastity)
Industria, Humilitas, Liberalis, Humanitas
(Diligence, Humility, Liberality, Kindness)
Correspond to each lethal act
Holy virtues’ correct steps
rOy.
